The lodge we recommend here is to offer you a different Zanzibar experience. We may find other hotels as well, but Fumba Beach Lodge offer something special in Zanzibar as there are no other hotels close by, but animals like bush babies and monkeys as well as it is close to one of Zanzibar’s most famous dive or snorkeling points.
It also includes a guided tour in Stone Town as well as an amazing boat trip. You will also spend one night in Stone Town to feel the rhythm of the Zanzibari culture. This trip suggestion is easy to add on any safari or Kilimanjaro program. It starts from the airport in Zanzibar and take you back to Dar es Salaam at the end of the trip for your flight back home.
You may fly in to Zanzibar either from overseas, or from your safari/Kilimanjaro adventure. Once you arrive in the exotic spice island Zanzibar you will be picked up by your driver and taken to a nature paradise Fumba Beach Lodge.

At Fumba you can rest and enjoy the Indian Ocean, the pool, and the green nature surrounding the lodge. During the day the blue monkeys are playing in the garden and in the evening the bushbabies is coming to the dhow bar where they feed the bush babies in the baobab tree. For dinner you can enjoy a 4 course dinner, or if you are lucky you may be there on one of the days where they have Swahili night with African songs and music, in a relaxing entertaining way.

This is your last day at Fumba Beach Lodge. If you have not yet visited the spa, this is a good chance. Or explore the butterfly walk, and maybe find some monkeys on the way. There may not be time for this as tanning on the beach or relaxing by the poolside shadow can be more tempting.

You will be checking out in the morning heading to Stone Town and to visit one of the islands many exotic spice farms. History and culture will be the main points of today’s tour to the slave market, and the walk in the narrow streets of Stone Town. You have a lunch break on the middle of the day before you finish your tour and go to check in at your new hotel in the heart of Stone Town.

This morning you have breakfast on the rooftop veranda overlooking the whole city before heading towards the port/airport for your trip back to Dar es Salaam. In Dar we will take you to a market, where you can do some last minnute shoppping, or just enjoy and relax on the waterfront cafee until you drive to the airport in good time for your flight back home.
