This 2-day Udzungwa Hiking Safari combines adventure, nature, and modern rail travel for an unforgettable Southern Tanzania experience.
Travel from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro and back aboard Tanzania’s Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), then continue by road to Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Known as the “Galapagos of Africa,” Udzungwa is home to exceptional biodiversity, endemic primates, tropical rainforest, and stunning waterfalls.
The highlight of the safari is the famous Sanje Waterfalls hike, offering breathtaking views over the Kilombero Valley and opportunities to spot rare monkeys, colorful birds, and unique plant species.
