This 5-day Mikumi & Zanzibar Safari combines one of Tanzania’s most accessible wildlife parks with the idyllic beaches of Zanzibar.
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park, where you’ll enjoy two unforgettable game drives across the wildlife-rich Mkata Floodplain. Mikumi is home to elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, hippos, crocodiles, and over 400 bird species.
After your safari, drive to Morogoro and board the SGR train back to Dar es Salaam before continuing your journey to Zanzibar by short domestic flight or ferry. Spend two nights enjoying the island’s turquoise waters, white-sand beaches, historic Stone Town, and relaxed tropical atmosphere.
