Overview
This 6-day Southern Tanzania safari combines the remote wilderness of Ruaha National Park with the wildlife-rich plains of Mikumi National Park.
The adventure begins with a scheduled flight from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha National Park, maximizing your safari time while avoiding lengthy road travel. After several days exploring Ruaha’s incredible wildlife and dramatic landscapes, continue by road through the Southern Highlands to Mikumi National Park.
The safari concludes with a scenic transfer to Morogoro and a comfortable journey aboard Tanzania’s Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) back to Dar es Salaam.
